Abstract

This study focuses on the natural challenges that Ethiopia faces that cause the failure of many of its water projects for geological and technical reasons, and a geological discussion. The area of ​​the Renaissance Dam, especially the quality of the rocks, the geological structures and the topography of the dam area and mineral deposits, in addition to assessing its effects on Egypt through the loss of large areas of agricultural land, and the decrease in electricity of the High Dam and Aswan Reservoir, and the stopping of many drinking water stations on the Nile River, and many stopped From industries, in

addition to the impact of gas-fired power stations that depend on cooling from the Nile water, the deterioration of water quality, in addition to Egypt's inability to meet its water needs, and thus its severe social impact on millions of farmers' families, and the dam's inability to withstand water pressure The huge one that will be trapped behind it, which reaches about 74 km3 of water, and when it collapses for any reason, the disaster would have occurred to reach its devastating effects on the homes and crops of Egyptians .. ??
