Foreign economic aid is one of the most important tools that has been playing an important role in achieving the foreign policy goals of countries. This method was followed during the Cold and War Bipolar era, as the United States of America and the Soviet Union were competing to provide foreign aid in order to win political, economic and military interests and gains. Egypt was one of these countries to have received aid from the Soviet Union before the October Liberation War, especially during the era of President Gamal Abdel Nasser. However. it soon turned to the United States of America in President Anwar Sadat's era and the subsequent change in Egyptian politics, and the signing of the Camp David agreement with the Zionist entity. This marks the beginning of the era of Egyptian blind surfing in the American orbit. So American aid to Egypt, or what is called "American aid" was one of the most important American tools used in restricting Egyptian political decision, weakening the Arab and international weight of Egypt. This research will address in the first topic the concept of foreign economic aid and its objectives, types and forms.
