Abstract

The study aimed at investigating the role of foreign trade in the framework of stimulating economic growth. The author demonstrated how economic and foreign trade indicators engaged growth during the crisis period (2010-2017). the study concluded to set of results the most important of them was: It was found that Foreign Trade plays a pivotal role in achieving economic growth and equilibrium during the crisis period, also there was no difference between the current reality and the required paths for making foreign trade policy and execute it, Foreign trade paths remained deficient in terms of expansion in net exports, especially in light of the widening gap in favor of imports despite efforts to compress import bill and increase export coverage during 2014, 2015 and 2016
