Tithes and Their Role in Supporting Revenues of the General Budget in the State in an Islamic Economic
Abstract
This research aims to state the role of the tithes system in the Islamic Financial system in Supporting Revenues, and treating the general budget deficit in the state. To achieve this goal, the research started with stating the definition of tithes and their quorum, the taken money, who have to pay, then applying this on the custom system applied in this age in most countries, by comparing the two systems. This comparison includes showing similarities and dissimilarities between the two systems. Then there is the study of the customs role in the treatment of the general budget deficit and showing the Islamic point of view in imposing customs. Finally, there is a special study of the role of tithes in the treatment of the budget deficit.
