Abstract

This research paper provided a comprehensive review of the literature on financial inclusion from all regions of the world in addition to addressing its importance, objectives and dimensions, and identified the most prominent issues related to it. The main findings of this review indicated the importance of financial inclusion in achieving economic and social development, in addition to its role as a key factor in reducing poverty and financial exclusion in poor economies through what it provides to members of society with access to a variety of high-quality financial services provided to them in a manner convenient, dignified and affordable prices, by a group of institutions.
