Abstract

The research aimed at an analytical economic study of the response of sheep breeders to productive risks and their impact on meat production. The research was carried out in some villages of the administrative regions taken by the random sample method, which numbered 48 villages by year 2022, and 331 breeders were selected by the random sample method from the aforementioned villages. The aim of the research is to study of  social economic characteristics of sheep breeders, estimation of their production costs, and determination of the impact of a group of independent factors on the dependent variable (meat production).he results of the research were reached based on the application of the progressive multiple linear regression model, and the application of the Karette technique to determine the ranks of the sources of productive risks according to their priorities, and the methods of risk control or reduction. The results of the analysis showed that one of the most important factors with a significant impact on increasing meat production is the experience of the breeder in raising sheep, and the lack of natural pastures ranked first among the productive risks with a score of 73.41, and the last rank was the lack of experience in raising sheep with a score of 24.30. Part of the herd ranked first with a score of 79.04, while the method of conducting training sessions occupied the last rank with a score of 21.21.
