The aim of the research was to conduct an analytical economic study of the production and marketing of irrigated cherries in The Damascus Countryside governorate (Zabadani Amodel area). A random sample of 261 farmers from irrigated cherry farmers in Al-Zabadani area of Damascus countryside governorate was taken in a random sample manner, interviewed in person and collected data, particularly the costs of producing and marketing cherries. The results of the field analysis of the sample studied showed that the total cost of irrigated cherries was 518.4 thousand LS/ha for the average of 2017 and 2018. Irrigated agricultural operations, the value of production requirements, land rents, petty cash and capital interest accounted for 52.3%, 21.3%, 15%, 3.7% and 2% of total total costs, respectively, while the value of irrigated cherries was about 1,292.6 thousand LS/H, while the net profit achieved for irrigated cherries was about 774.1 thousand l.s/h. In terms of the value of economic efficiency, it was about 2.49. The total marketing costs of cherries were about 32.8 LS/kg, the highest cost was for storage and the lowest marketing cost was for weight loss in fruits, and the marketing efficiency of the cherry crop was 73.3%. And (55.3%) The wholesaler's net marketing profit margin was 57.2 LS/kg and accounted for about 25.4% of the purchase price. The research recommends the need to provide production supplies, especially fertilizers and control materials, and to seek to expand the cultivation of cherries, as the environmental conditions are suitable for planting within the framework of encouraging its cultivation.
