Proof of descent by (Qayfah)

Abstract

The lineage in Islam has a great place, highlighted by the multiple Shariah provisions, and the function of showing Islam to prove and protect it, so as to ensure the purity of the human towards his lineage and not be disturbed by doubts and suspicion.

One of these provisions that Islam has legalized or introduced to establish descent is the question of (qayfah).

This research, deals with the question of qayfah, and its legitimacy in the proof of lineage in Islamic jurisprudence and different scholars in it, and taking and them, and the new era of our current most importantly (DNA).
