Over the years and centuries, the human race has been exposed to many natural disasters, such as the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 BC, and the tsunami waves that struck large parts of Asia in 2004, which decimated 240,000 in 12 countries and displaced more than a million people. Relief and assistance in cases of disasters With the increase in their frequency, intensity and complexity, international cooperation in the field of providing protection and assistance in cases of disasters has played an important role, through many international treaties, declarations and resolutions regulating the mechanisms of states in work during natural disasters.
