Al-Razi’s approach (d. 606 AH) in presenting exegetical meanings for the Qur'anic word

Abstract

This research shows Al-Razi's approach and his method in his presentation of explanatory meanings of the Qur’anic vocabulary that bears more than one meaning, The interpretation of the vocabulary of three surahs has been extrapolated: (Al-Baqarah, Al-Imran, Al-Nisaa). Finally, the research concludes with a statement of the features of the Al- Razi approach, and its scientific value, from which the contemporary interpreter may benefit.
