Abstract

 The emergence of artificial intelligence has had a significant impact on criminal justice, as its algorithms have entered the field of law and served as an assistant to law enforcement in achieving justice. Therefore, this research focuses on studying the role of artificial intelligence algorithms in the work of criminal police, where they have contributed to facilitating the work of police officers and carrying out the tasks assigned to them before or after the crime has occurred. These algorithms have played a role in predicting crimes in terms of people or potential crime locations, and taking the necessary measures to prevent them. In addition to the role that these algorithms play after the crime has been committed, where they have contributed to the discovery of these crimes, identifying their perpetrators, and collecting various criminal evidence.
