The relationship of university youth's attitudes towards women's work and family planning with the variables of gender, academic year, and marital status(A field study on a sample of university students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Damascus University)

The aim of the research is to identify the attitudes of university youth towards women's work and family planning. To achieve the research goal, the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of two parts: the first section included personal data, and the second section consisted of (42) items divided into three axes: the importance of women's work, women's motives towards work The relationship between women's work and family planning, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample consisting of (348) male and female students in all departments of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Damascus University, during the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023.
The results of the research showed: that University youth's attitudes towards work and family planning are high and statistically acceptable for research purposes in general, according to the correction key adopted in the research. The results of the research showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the sample members about
university youth's attitudes towards women's work and family planning due to the gender variable and in favor of females due to the importance women felt to work in various aspects of their lives. Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the variable the academic year and in favor of the fourth year, in addition to the existence of differences due to the variable of marital status in favor of married students.
