In this research, the term: "tools of forefront" which refers to"words that must be stated at the beginning of the sentence" is examined. This concept lacks a comprehensive definition and a clear distinction from other similar words that prevent the words related to them from appearing before them. As a result, it has been confused with other concepts in several modern studies.
The research then delves into the works of the grammarians to trace this
term, explore its rules and regulation, and aims to clarify the concept that the early grammarians relied upon when emphasizing the requirement of word placement at the beginning. The research distinguishes concept from others that may cause confusion. Furthermore, the study examines the works of later grammarians, and reveals that their understanding of this term slightly differs from that of the earlier grammarians. They associate it with speech sections or changes that impact the content, leading to the expansion of the tools of the forefront.
To accomplish this, the research extrapolates from various grammatical works, starting with the oldest sources, and describing the grammarians' perspective on the phenomenon being studied. The research concludes by deriving results and establishing the foundation of the term.
