Abstract

This study was conducted on a sample of schools based in the city of Hama- Syria, taking into account the students’ level, gender, and location in order to determine the levels of noise in schools using the Taiwanese noise measuring device (Digital Sound level 824 Meter) during the academic, year (2022). the study concluded that the sample of school under consideration were heavily affected by noise pollution, both inside and outside of the schools. Furthermore, the study identified various sources of noise pollution

that exceeds the standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the standards set by the Syrian Arab standards and Metrology Organization (SASMO).
