Proposed Model for Measuring Health Service Development Indicators (A Study of Health Service Development Indicators in Syria)

The aim of the study was to reach a measurable and applicable model of health service development indicators that contains most of the necessary indicators, in addition to indicating the degree of accuracy of the model in terms of measurement, comparison and access to logical results. The study showed the methods of forming the model and distributing its degrees and dividing it into four basic indicators ،each index consists of a set of important points. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method. The study has reached a number of important results ،the most important of which are: The decrease in the value of the health economic service development indicators in Syria as compared to the indicators of the World Health Organization (Middle East). The decline in the value of indicators of health services in Syria as compared to those of the World Health Organization (Middle East). The increase in the value of health service development indicators related to the burden of disease in Syria as compared to those of the World Health Organization (Middle East). The decline of the level of quality of health services provided and the decline in the efficiency of human resources of health services in the public sector. The possibility of applying and measuring the proposed model and modifying it.
