Abstract

Some innovators claimed that studying grammar by grammatical categories is more beneficial than the way of our old grammarians, so they redivided Arabic to conform with these claims that the western linguists depended on when studying their own language. They also inserted some terms into the approach of their study such as “morpheme” and other terms, claiming that modernization and simplification of grammar and adding liveliness to it.  The

research alluded to ‘emphasis theory’ in innovators studies to show the pros and cons of this approach in studying the language.
