Abstract

Cultural and material heritage of the remnants of human civilizations long sunk underwater can be defined as all the physical, historical and scientific antiquities sunken depths of rivers or seas due to climate conditions, or human or natural factors. This underwater archeological heritage includes, among other things, remnants of shipwrecked trade and war vessels, with all the historical documents, official tables and paintings, and various physical remnants.

.Underwater archeology is also interested in identifying all the maritime navigating routes taken by ships along with other physical documents and artifacts, in addition to local positive law of each state that can help in understanding a certain historical epoch.
