التحليل الجغرافي لإنتاج واستهلاك الطاقة في العالم وتداعياته الجيواسترتيجية ( دراسة في جغرافية الطاقة )

Abstract

Energy has become the lifeblood of modern human civilization. Human history and the development of human civilization have been linked with the human exploitation of the energy resources , the development of energy exploitation, generation, and production technologies.

Research aims to analyze the geographical distribution of energy production and consumption in the world , and to show the political, economic and strategic implications of this distribution.

Research has shown that the variation in the geographical distribution of energy production and consumption is related to natural geographical factors like structure, geological structure and climate, which determine the share of each country from the sources of wealth, As well as the human factors represented by the number of people and the level of their cultural, economic and technological development.

Industrialized countries account for the largest share of energy consumption in the world, despite the low share of these countries in production of primary energy resources. In opposite, the consumption of poor and low industrialzed countries decreases while their share of  energy production increases.

This has led the industrialized countries to adopt a policy of control and acquisition towards poor countries to ensure the continued flow of large quantities of energy sources from these countries in order to continue their economic and industrial superiority
