This research dealt with social problems that hinder the role of the teacher
in practicing his profession, and aims to identify the tyge of social problems facing the teacher, to identify the role that the teacher plays, and to try to put some proposals to reduce the social problems…
The research relied the descriptive analy tical method. The research was applied to sample of teachers and their number was (81) male and female teacher, who were chosen randomly. The original research community is represented by the teacher of the first cycle of basis education, who were
( 104 ) male and female teacher. Five schools were selected (Tel shehab the third, Tel shehab the fourth, Tel shehab the sixth, the girls of Tel shehab Rural, Al Shaheed Al Rifai) out of 7 schools in the area Tal shehab.
Examples of research tools were by means of a over five main axes are administrative problems and problems related to students and those related to parents of students and related to the local community and the living situation.
The results of the field research showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the social problems in its five axes(administration, and related to students, and student’s parents, and community, and living situation) to the variable of gender and years, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the role of teacher in its five (administrate, and student’s parents, and students, community and living situation) dimension according to the variable of gender and years of experience. As the social problems that limit the education role of the teacher in for first place in terms of (3.21), and problems related to the student’s parents came in second place in terms of (2.37), and problems related to the students the third in terms of (2.31), and problems related to local community institution the fourth in terms of (2.08), and problems related to the living situation the fifth in terms of (1.59). As for the results role of the teacher came in the first place is his role with administration in terms of (4.06), then his role with the parents of the students in terms of (3.66), and role with students the third in terms of (3.35), and role teacher with the local community institutions the fourth in(2.62), and role with the his living situation the fifth in terms of (1.72).
