Abstract

The research here revolves around the problem of defining the science of speech and its origins, there is no consensus on the definition of this science, nor about the factors that contribute to its emergence, in terms of definition, there are those who see as a mental controversy or mental argument in the absence of the defense of religion, and there are those who see that it is confined to the support of a religious doctrine without other sects, and finally there are those who see that it is a purely mental controversy, that is, a kind of philosophy, In particular, Islamic beliefs. Hence there is no consensus on the definition of this science or about its goals and objectives, as there is a need to address this problem. Likewise, with regard to the religious and historical importance of theology, and the factors of its emergence, where we see

contradictory sayings about the importance of this science in acceptance or rejection, as well as the matter regarding the factors of origin, some see that they are internal, and some see that it is an external external, and we have our word in this regard, where we divided these factors directly and indirect Directly, we made it basic factors: the political factor, and the cultural mixture. In summary, this study is a new reading of an old problematic problem.
