Abstract

The aim of this study is to review a number of critical terms which belong to poetic thefts including (piracy, appropriation, poaching, copying, and plagiarism). The study reviews the terms with their definitions, restrictions, meanings and the examples presented by critics in order to determine a number of complications related to these terms. The general objective is to pinpoint these complications and discuss them in order to draw the attention of researchers and examiners to the importance of the critical term in general and the terms associated with poetic thefts in particular. The study also illustrates the necessity to study these terms and similar terms, refining them from errors or defects that affect them and to reach critical terms that are accurate, specific and constant.
