The significance of the present study lies in introducing the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and its uses in foreign language education, with a particular focus on teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. The study aims to examine the impact of employing AI and information technology in language instruction by analyzing the e-learning environment in order to clarify the characteristics, functions, and roles of the instructional process components within that environment from the teachers’ perspective. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical methodology and reached several findings. The results
showed that the integration of AI and information technology in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers enjoys wide acceptance and has a tangible impact, as perceived by teachers, due to its role in enhancing the quality of education and improving the performance of educational institutions. Moreover, teachers identified a number of notable challenges and obstacles that hinder the effective implementation of AI in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers—challenges that require systematic and methodical solutions. Additionally, the study found no statistically significant differences in the respondents’ answers based on gender, years of teaching experience, or academic qualification.
