Abstract

The research seeks to study the Congo- Nile campaign from its launch in West Africa in 1896 until the evacuation of the campaign in 1898, by introducing the leader of the campaign, studying the remte causes and the direct cause of the campaign, the launch of the campaign, its course, and the reactions of the Mahdists to the French presence on their lands, and then the situation The English and diplomatic talks between the English and the French accepting that ended with France accepting the option to withdraw from the region.
