Abstract

Syria has always been an in of being envaded by enemies , because of its crucial location . One of the most important battles which took place in Syria was Qadesh between the Egyption Empire and the Heteet Empire. This  battle happened in around 1275BC. Qadesh which is a City on the western bank of the Orontes river. this battle is considered and of the most important battles in the ancient history of Syria. So Qadesh separated between those Empires. What characterizes this battle is the military techniques which were used and the big armies involved in the conflict and were military spying used for the first time in the history. Moreover it was very difficult to knon whos the winner. 15 years later after the end of the battle there was a treaty as an announce of peace and the end of war. This treaty had its good effects on the Syrian kingdoms where you could see the economic prosperity and trade spread as a result.
