Abstract

The disintegration of the Soviet Union led to structural transformations in European societies, especially the emergence of the problem of minorities, the change of border demarcation between the countries of the Union, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the demise of the Warsaw Pact, as well as the processes of opening borders and adopting globalization approaches in various economic, social and cultural fields, a wide transition Labor and migrations from the former Soviet Union countries towards the developed western countries, as well as the events of September 11, 2001 and then the American invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the subsequent political changes in some Arab countries since 2010, have led to new waves of illegal immigration and asylum And in unprecedented numbers towards the European Union.
