Abstract

Julia Domna assumed the throne of Rome from her marriage to Septimius Severius and ruled through her son, Caracalla. Then her sister, Julia Maesa, took control of the throne through her grandson, Emperor Elagabalus. She played an important role in the rule of her second grandson, Alexander Severus, with her son, Julia Domna, to take over the reins of government after the death of her mother, Julia. Maysa, to end the rule of the Syrian family with the assassination of Emperor Alexander and his mother. We also show the life of Zenobia and her marriage to the King of Palmyra, Septimus Odenathus, her ascension to the throne, and the policy she followed in establishing the pillars of her state to oppose and defect from the Roman Empire, but she failed in that and fell captive into the hands of the Romans. Thus, a bright page of glory was revealed, which was illuminated by a great Arab woman.
