Abstract

Various global social and societal variables have led to the development of the design of nursing homes in developed countries, and the emergence of

modern care trends that focus primarily on the person and his various needs, while nursing homes in our local community are still far from this change and development, both in terms of concept. Or urban and architectural formation, or in terms of the theories supporting those trends, which makes tracking these trends extremely important, will help in controlling the development mechanisms adopted, or that will be adopted later, to adjust the degree of satisfaction and societal acceptance, for those facilities that have become part of the required overall structure, To make nursing homes an architectural product with vibrant design dimensions, far from their traditional architectural frameworks.

From here, this research will follow recent trends in the design of nursing homes for the elderly, to reach a theoretical approach to change the image of nursing homes, change the social and societal perception of it, and increase understanding of its role and position in society, which contributes to achieving the possibility of controlling the degree of satisfaction and societal acceptance of it, in a more Compatibility with the data of its biosphere wherever it is.
