Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the use of political ideology of architecture to impose specific architectural and urban environment, depending on psychological effect of architectural and urban environment on people.

It, also, displays the problematic of the control of political value on humanitarian values of architecture (aesthetic, cultural and even functional), which enables architecture to the transformation from natural extension of the human-self in the outside world and its intellectual values in his environment to become a tool to reduce this extension .

That will be through an analytical study of political ideology effect on twentieth century architecture, and at the beginning of twenty first century, Soviet Architecture and The Arabian Gulf Architecture as examples.

Search result will conclude the attributes of political architecture thought, both positive and negative ones, and determine the worthwhile and maximum range of political value of architecture, so we can reach to a clear vision of human value of architecture.
