Abstract

The aim of this paper is study of natural rubber influence on the physical, and mechanical properties of the unsaturated polyester resin UPR's  compounds, reinforcement by Synthetic fibers (Glass, Basalt, Kevlar).

Results of physical and mechanical tests are shown that where natural rubber is added, density of UPR is decreased with density of reinforcement combustions by (24 Layers) are remained almost constant, it also showed a decrease in both the hardness and tensile strength with an increase in the proportion of natural rubber, while the maximum elongation increased significantly for all compounds.
