Abstract

The purpose from this study to know the role of Direct Foreign Investments in making Economist and Society  Developing in Syria, under the slogan “Investment is the basis of development”, foreign direct investment flows have increased significantly to developing countries, especially Syria, which has realized the importance of these investments and has begun seeking since 2000 to attract foreign investment through economic reform, creating an appropriate investment climate, and providing facilities, incentives and tax exemptions, due to their effective role in eliminating unemployment, creating job opportunities, producing goods and services, and learning about modern methods of management, organization, communication and marketing, which gives the national workforce greater skill and experience, which achieves rapid economic growth rates that are positively reflected in economic and social development.
