Abstract

This study examines the role of innovation and scientific research in supporting post -conflict economic reconstruction ,with a particular focus on the Syria case.It employs a comparative analysis of the experiences of Bosnia,Iraq,and Rwanda to explote how reserch and innovation can foster economic stability and promote sustainable development .The study aims to assess the extent to which the Syrian model can benefit from these international experiences and to propose practical mechanisms to strengthen the role of research in reconstruction policies.

The methodology is based on comparative and qualitative analysis of research indicators  and policy frameworks in the selected countries .

The finding suggest that systematic investment in research and innovation can accelerate economic recovery and reduce external dependency ,provided that a supportive legislative and institutional environment is in place .

The study recommends integtating universities and research centers into governmental reconstruction plans and ensuring adequate funding and logistical support for applied research ,particularly in the fields of agriculture ,energy ,and technical education.
