Abstract

We used an aqueous extract of Syrian olive leaves (OLE) to form an inhibitory film on the surface of iron metal. we studied the inhibition of this film in 0.1M sulfuric acid at various  temperatures. The results showed that the best experimental conditions for forming this film are at pH = 5.5 with  dipping time of 16 hours in (OLE) extract. According to the results of electrochemical measurmants, i.e. (EIS).
