Abstract

Field in field (FIF) and hard wedge (HW) techniques were used to dosimetric benefits for early stage breast cancer radiotherapy by using treatment planning system (TPS).

As a result, The FIF is better than HW in providing dose distribution for planning target volume (PTV) with lower monitor units (MUs) and dose the organ at risk (OAR) that are located beside planning tumor.
