Abstract

Communications wireless technologies depend on the performance of scheduling operation which is important for bandwidth allocation and distribution between subscribers to achieve high throughput and meet quality-of-service commitments.

 In this paper we review the scheduling operation in wimax network, where did not have standard scheduling operation and let it free. There are many scheduling algorithm, and we focus on DRR and Modified EDF.

Scheduling algorithms, we study them performance in terms of throughput and delay. We also try to improve performance by using call admission control algorithm with DRR and Modified EDF.
