Visual rhetoric and its projections in the artst’s Arabic book

The research began with an introductory introduction to rhetoric and symbols in the plastic arts and a definition of the art of the book in general. Alliteration, counterpoint, emphasis, omission, use of a part or element to represent the whole, drawing using shadows). Then, in this axis, we explained the relationship between linguistic rhetoric and visual imagery, as they showed similarities and differences. Visual rhetoric is broader in terms of showing and concealing meanings and symbols. In the second axis, we defined the art of the book in an extensive way, and we enumerated its seven forms, while explaining them in detail. In the third axis, the title was Visual Rhetoric in the Art of the Book, Between Significance and Suggestion, as symbols have connotations and revelations that make the absorption of visual rhetoric possible. As for the fourth axis, we explained how line and color become semantic elements in visual rhetoric, and how they can be read in the context of plastic work. As for the fifth axis, it is an analytical rhetorical reading of three models of book art by Arab artists, starting with describing the work, then analyzing it, and then showing the forms of visual rhetoric that are hidden in it. Finally, the search results, which were seven (7), answered the research questions
