Abstract

Multi Agent Systems is a branch of artificial intelligence suitable for use in the control and management of electric power, as it facilitates the process of

communication between the components of the electrical network and coordination centers .In this work, an algorithm for energy demand management is proposed for a model network using multi-agent systems, where we will have 4 main agents, in order: the traditional generators agent G, the distributed generators agent DG, the load agent L, The main agent or the BASE agent which represents the coordination center, the main objective of this model is to test the possibility of benefiting from the multi-agent system to automate the network in operation management, and there will be communication between these agents to determine the value of the reserve Power in this network and estimate the financial value of this Power to be sealed by the main agent to one of the load agents. The Jade modeling environment was also used to develop the environment for Multi Agent Systems.
