The Optimal Arrangement of Production Processes in the Cleaning Materials Industry (Sequence of Production Processes)

Abstract

In this research, was established an arrangement for the production processes of cleaning materials (powder), within the factory [A] located in the Syrian Arab Republic – Damascus countryside, and determined the type of work in each of the stages: manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated. And was calculated the productivity in each of the stages and the entire productivity and determined the percentage of waste within each stage and the percentage of waste on the entire production line, in order to know the highest percentage of waste and work to reduce the waste in this factory, in addition to dividing the stage as needed to obtain a homogeneous powder of high quality.
